It is Christmas Eve day! I am sick blah.... I plan on making the best of it anyway! Zelie I am so stoked to give you your gift tomorrow!!! I am putting a roast in the oven as soon as I am finished here and Grandma Janine is joining us for dinner and than we will be attending Midnight Mass and the Cathedral in downtown LA for our second year in a row. It was so beautiful last year I am so excited! It is always such beautiful music and decorations and the congregation is so eclectic that it truly makes you think of heaven and what a wide variety of people will be there!! We are all children of God! Since little Georgie is a newborn Christmas had been different for me this year.... I feel such a different bond with Mary. Knowing the love a mother feels when holding her precious tiny little newborn and imagining how Our Lady must have felt knowing that this sweet little boy she was holding would have to save humanity... it is just amazing! I find myself cyring just looking at the Nativity Scene! We are so lucky that she was willing to say yes and bring Jesus into the world! I hope I can have the strength to raise my children for greatness!
Now on a goofier note.... check out the cute cookies Hannah and I made for Christmas, I love them!
Love,
Mama
