what about post-pregnancy cravings???

So Georgie bear you are 7 weeks old today and you nurse CONSTANTLY! I think I am burning so many calories I can't eat fast enough! I am not one who likes to bake really.... but I always wanted to be that mom who has cookies fresh out of the oven when the kids come home from school... I don't even really like eating baked goods to be honest I would much rather eat sour patch kids! Since you were born though I cannot stop baking! I don't know if it is the holidays approaching or what, but I have made some type of chocolate chip cookie pretty much every week since you came into our lives! As we speak I am waiting for the timer to go off on a batch of cookies mmmmm, they smell delicious! Hopefully this will go away or I will never loose any more pregnancy weight!

After the cookies are finished I am going to take you guys for a walk. Something we do on a pretty regular basis while dad is at work. George you ride in the front pack and we stay in our complex so it is a great chance for Z to get practice walking on her own like a big girl. Yesterday on our walk, Zelie you were so adorable! You get so excited every time we hear a dog bark and you collected flowers and crunchy leaves. You fumbled around trying to hold all your treasures until I showed you how to put things in your pockets, man were you excited! It is one of the favorite parts of my day! No tv and I leave my phone at home so we get to really hang out, plus it gets you both nice and tired!

We are going over to Katie and Tim's for dinner tonight. They live in the apartment across the parking lot from us and Zelie you have so much fun playing with little Hannah so it should be fun.

On a different topic, Zelie you are so smart! As I am sitting here typing this you just took the controller for the Wii and turned off Curious George and navigated through the Netflix and turned on Veggie Tales! A feat that some adults can't even figure out. You are going to give me a run for my money I just know it. Well I better go take the cookies out of the oven and get you guys ready for our walk!
