I thought I would do this little survey I found online to help remember 2011 a little better! Just for fun!

1. What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?

We bought a mini-van, had our beautiful son, learned how to make my own bread.....

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don't remember last year's resolutions! I made a few for 2012, to try and be a more compassionate, loving, and patient woman.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

WOW!! yes :) I did, Auntie Kathryn-baby Kolbe, Amber- Baby Wyatt, lets just leave it at alot of my friends gave birth and a few more are going to give birth very soon!

4. Did anyone close to you die? 

Grandpa George got to leave this world! God bless you Grandpa!

5. ~~What countries did you visit? What states did you visit?~~ What counties did you visit?

I was pregnant for most of 2011 and we were broke so there really wasn't much traveling going on! Hoping to change that this year and at least squeeze in a visit to grandmother & pa's as well as Aunt Louie's!

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?

A solid chunk of a down payment for a home!

7. What dates from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

Feb 8- we were all blessed to be at Grandpa's side as he passed away

Feb 22- the day I found out I was expecting #2

July 19- the day we found out I did not have BC

Oct 21- Georgie bear was born!!

Dec 17- Georgie was born into the Catholic faith!

Just to name a few of the things that stick out the strongest!

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Having Georgie would be my number 1 also I am proud of us for getting our act together and starting to get caught up on debt!

9. What was your biggest failure?

Losing faith in issues that stress me out.... especially financial stuff! I need to trust God's plan!

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

I had a scare during my pregnancy and for about 3 weeks thought I had a rare type of breast cancer that effects pregnant women. I felt scared, but surprisingly peaceful and I was overjoyed to find out it was just a weird hormonal fluke! Thank you Jesus! I also got a few horrid migraines while pregnant one got so bad I don't remember the whole day at all!! Apparently I acted as if I didn't know Z or Kevin and had to stay in the hospital all day with pain meds! We have got that under control now though!

11. What was the best thing you bought?

I will DEFINITELY have to go with our mini-van! Best investment ever!!! It has been so roomy and so comfy so convenient for a growing family!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Kevin really stepped up with all my health problems, he was so supportive with the whole BC thing and taking great care of Z with the migraine situation!

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

Nothing really because we try to surround ourselves with positive influences!

14. Where did most of your money go?

Trying to get caught up on bills, diapers, and being prego I will have to say FOOD! I was one hungry mama carrying Georgie.

15. What did you get really excited about?

It has been super exciting having a boy and watching you 2 together! So much excitement comes with a new baby! and I was quite excited for Dad's new promotion! Such a blessing for us!

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: 

– happier or sadder? Happier. Much Happier! I have found alot of peace with the little things which has made a huge difference!

– thinner or fatter?I actually weigh the same but I had a baby so that is expected! I am back in kick boxing though so that will change :)

– richer or poorer? Richer both in family and financially.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?

Prayed I want to pray more and turn the little things I do into prayers!

19. What do you wish you’d done less of? 

Complaining! Stressing! Making a big deal out of things I have no control over!

20. How did you spend Christmas? 

It was wonderful! Christmas Eve Grandma Janine came over for dinner with just us followed by Midnight mass at the Cathedral with just Me, daddy, & the kids. Than Christmas morning we bounced around to morning presents at the Cooke's, lunch at the Mowery's, and dinner at Grandma Janine's! So much love it was all wonderful!

21. Did you fall in love in 2011? 

I met little Georgie bear and immediately fell in love with him! I fall more and more in love with both my kids and Kevin through out the year!

22. What was your favorite TV program?

Love Up All Night and the Office! Also Psych!

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? 

I try not to hate anyone and as of right now nobody is bugging me more than usual!

24. What was the best book you read? 

I read the Help and loved it! Re-read To Kill a Mockingbird and love something more about it every time I read it!

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Z trying to sing the ABC's :)

26. What did you want and get? 

A healthy baby! Kevin's promotion! A mini-van!

27. What did you want and not get? 

visits to my mom and sisters

28. What was your favorite film of this year?

I loved The Help that's all I can really remember right now!

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 

I turned 25 March 7th and I can honestly say I don't really remember it! Hahaha I had morning sickness..... I remember that

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

Praying more and not stressing about little uncontrollable things!

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?

Maternity clothes followed by lots of leggings and boots :)SO cozy!

32. What kept you sane? 

Prayer, having alot of strong women I can talk to (mom Auntie sisters etc...) and Kevin staying calm

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

no one

34. What political issue stirred you the most?

Experiencing pregnancy and childbirth make pro-life issues very significant and undeniably personal.

35. Who did you miss? 

My parents,sisters, nieces and nephews and my friends who live in other states!

36. Who was the best new person you met?

Definitely my Georgie Bear! Also having been pregnant together I really got to know Amber, I met her before 2011, but we developed a different relationship dealing with pregnancy and having our boys 8 days apart!

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011.

God has his own plans and we should just pray to learn what he has planned instead of trying to planning things ourselves!
