Happy Annibirthary Bonanza Day!

Yesterday I celebrated my 26th birthday (yikes! officially closer to 30 than to 20!) and our 3rd wedding anniversary! It was a wonderful day! I woke up to my 2 sweet babies chillin on the couch with their daddy... a site which always brings my heart to joyful tears.
Seeing as how I woke up a bit late, I didn't want to rush to make it to 9 O'clock mass (late), but I wanted to go to mass to thank God for another year of life and happy marriage! So I decided I wanted to drive downtown to the Cathedral... a place I love so much! Z you were a bit naughty, but it was still a good time!

Z you liked the new statue they got of St Joseph! We stopped to say a prayer for daddy.

me and both my sweet babies!

You guys looked especially cute so I had to snap some extra pictures of you both.

handsome little lumberjack baby

I am always a sucker for smooches

It was really cold when I got everyone dressed than of course it warmed up and we were melting inside the Cathedral!!

After we got home we waited for daddy. He brought some beautiful roses home for me and I was so proud of him because he said he was going to buy red, but he changed his mind because he thought it would be more meaningful to bring home white... the color my bouquet was for our wedding! He also brought home 2 cards; a very sweet one from him and one from you 2! How thoughtful of you guys. He got me a new coffee maker- best. gift. ever. Also dad told me that this weekend we get to go to the Santa Barbara Zoo! I got daddy a St Joseph the Worker statue which he was very moved by and told me he really liked it because it reminded him of Grandpa George. If I do say so myself, we both did very well in the gift giving department this year.

We headed off to drop you guys at Grandma's so dad and I could go to dinner. We went to Shogun and sat at the sushi bar like the old days before you guys, it was so fun! Meanwhile back at Grandma's you and Grandma were making me a cake to surprise me. Z you did a great job decorating it all by yourself. I especially loved all the little finger holes you left in it.

Z you are getting so good at singing Happy Birthday!

Of course you helped me blow out the candles
All in all it was a wonderful Annibirthary! We are so blessed! I love my husband I love my kiddos! Who could ask for more! Thanks for being so wonderful guys!
Love,
Mama
