Oh St. Joseph I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms......
Yesterday was St Joseph's feast. SO we wanted to celebrate! I have been feeling extra drawn to St. Joe lately so we have been praying a novena for Dad to be in the career that God wants him to be in and yesterday was our last day of the novena so we went to OLPH to pray in front of the St Joseph statue. Z girl you were adorable! You ran in and kept doing the sign of the cross and genuflecting at everything. You are such a sweet girl!
We than headed over to Sear's to check out ovens because ours is heading out. Followed by some dinner at Red Robin.(Aw the excitement of going out when married with kids!) You guys were both very good! Little Georgie you were drinking water out of my straw and you just seemed so old! Slow down little man!
Since you were such a good girl Z we let you ride the little horse outside the restaurant and you enjoyed it very much!!
You guys both bring so much joy to our lives!! I have been making baby food from the leftover pulp from juicing, but I didn't think you were ready for it Georgie so I have been sticking it in the freezer. Well yesterday I decided to let you try the spinach/carrot/cucumber mix stirred into a little rice cereal... well you loved it!
| you kept sneezing and spraying me with green slobber! thanks little man! |
Well all my love sweet kiddos! St Joseph we will continue our prayers to you! I think I might even start another novena.... I am just feeling so drawn to him! I mean come on-he held, cradled, rocked, played with, and taught JESUS! He has got to have an in in the prayer department. What a humble and amazing example for all parents!
Love,
Mama
