Hello sweet boy! You turned 1 on Sunday! So we made a weekend out of celebrating you! Plus we are having a birthday party next weekend so really 2 weekends celebrating you, we just love you that much!! Thursday evening we went to a little Halloween gathering in Newhall, just down the street from our house. It was fun they had live music, people in costume, delicious food, and yummy desserts (that were enormous!). You guys danced and ate and danced some more!! A good time was had by all!
On Saturday we decided it would be fun to take you guys to the zoo just you guys and dad and I. It was cool weather and a wonderful time! You guys had a lot of fun! Z you loved all the animals and mimicked all the noises you heard and would yell goodbye to all of them as we kept walking, it was very cute. Georgie you were quite smart! Dad would ask you at each exhibit, "Georgie do you see the.....(insert animal here)" and you would stare and stare and than point to the animal! You even found the crocodile before we could! Such a smarty boy! We were all quite hungry after the zoo so we went to continue our celebrating at our favorite, Shogun! (more of a treat for me and daddy, but you guys had fun none the less) You chowed down on edamame, shrimp tempura, gyoza, and oranges! Quite a happy little piggy.
We had a wonderful day and I couldn't have asked for me than just some peaceful quality time with my three and half favorite peeps!

The next day on your ACTUAL birthday we continued celebrating you! We got up and went to 8:30 mass, but you were super grumpy! Well grumpy turned into agitated which quickly escalated into painful screaming! My heart was breaking for you little man! You were uh....backed up so to say. So we rushed over to the store and got you some prune juice and tried to keep you comfortable. We ended up having to cancel our breakfast plans with the Bunch family cause you were hurting too much. So instead we went to Grandma's and waited it out. You were much better after a couple of hours and a few bottles of prune juice later, needless to say you spent the remainder of your birthday evening in a diaper and a sweater after wrecking you pants! We hung out with Grandma and Uncle John & Aunt Nancy + kiddos. It was a good time! I can't wait for your birthday party next weekend!! Woohoo! Oh and PS you are just minutes away from walking! You stand all the time and have taken 2,3,4 steps at a time! ( When Z doesn't pull you down trying to "help") You can do it buddy!
