Feeling crafty!

So I woke up yesterday and while the kids were eating breakfast I got hooked on the holiday page of Pinterest! YIKES! So needless to say I had to jump in the car and head to buy some craft supplies :) We made a few things yesterday! One thing I always hate is having to throw out a perfectly good pumpkin just because Fall is over (actually last years pumpkin sat on my back patio until the following August!) So this year I decided to give those spooky little guys a makeover.....

The little guy is probably going to stay on the dinner table while the big guy is resting on top of an upside down terra cotta pot by our front door.

Oh and here is the centerpiece I threw together don't know yet if I will keep it.... I am not crazy about it....

 Living in an apartment we don't have a whole lot of room to put decorations..... No ledges, mantles, etc so I have to get creative on where to put stuff. Anyway I also made to hanging decorations by mixing glue and water and painting it onto the images and the wood and voila!  The first was a free print out on pinterest that I really liked...

This one I made out of a page of one of the kids books that had gotten ripped. Both pieces of wood came from old alcohol displays from Kevin's work he he he so pretty much the only thing that I paid for was the ribbon! I like that :) Ok I am finished for now.... Hopefully you kiddos will appreciate the decorating and trying to make things festive on a budget cause I know I sure like doing it for you!
