So another year has come and gone for daddy! His birthday was last Sunday and we decided to let him have a birthday weekend too! So we started Friday with a batch of chocolate chip cookies which Z made pretty much by herself ;) You are getting really good little lady! You knew the names of all the ingredients and are actually getting good at stirring without flinging flour everywhere. Than you guys made Dad cards! I LOVED them! You colored them and than dictated to me what you wanted to say to your dad..... Z yours made me cry..... Georgie yours was hysterical seeing as you have a like 8 word vocabulary :)

We followed up Saturday morning with some birthday waffles and singing! Before we headed out to the Santa Barbara Zoo to meet up with the Bunch family!
Timmy was very happy about the waffles :)
Than it was zoo time! I love the SB zoo. It is small and easy and has great playgrounds and who can complain about gorgeous 70 degree sunshiney beach weather! Not me! Z you did a great job your first time not having a seat in the stroller! Getting so big! You felt so big walking around with Reese it was adorable.
The Zoo had this big hill of astro turf you slid down on pieces of cardboard. You guys were hauling down that hill and having a blast! Even Dad and Daniel got involved :)
After the Zoo we walked out to the pier and had dinner and got ice cream. It was such a fun day and we love the Bunch family!!
Ending the night with two smiling happy birthday guys! I think it was a success!
Sunday on your dad's actual birthday we went to mass, breakfast with Grandma, came home and took naps, and went to dad's soccer game! All in all a wonderful weekend! Thank you Jesus for bringing Kevin into the world! We love him so very much!
