Yesterday we went to one of my favorite places in Truckee! The Donner Memorial Park. I don't know what it is about this rinky dink little old school museum and monument, but I LOVE it! I have great memories there as a kid and I was so excited to share it with your daddy and you guys! Zelie you had a blast! You loved the train diorama and the mannequins dressed like the Donner Party. We checked out the museum and watched the little movie they have. The kids were a little freaked out by the taxidermy bear in the corner of the room, they all kept saying they thought it was going to come to life when the movie was on. Crazy imaginations!
Than we headed outside for the hike.... sadly part of the trail was closed due to water damage on the bridge, but we didn't let that stop us we found a second trail and the kids hiked their little hearts out! It was a blast!
We spent the evening going on yet another walk around Auntie Kathryn's neighborhood and several of your cousins experienced Big Foot sitings! It was a very eventful hike... they even found Big Foot prints and some of his hair on some bushes! Back at Aunt Kathryn's house you got a mysterious injury Z girl! You have quite the bloody finger and none of us knows what happened! Poor baby you handled it like a champ though my little tough cookie!
